Equipment

Each child provided with team jersey, hat and socks by program.

You must supply glove, cleats, and softball pants (gray recommended).

Helmets and bats are optional but recommended: you may use team provided bat and/or helmet if you do not purchase your own.

Practices/Games​
-
This age group will be clinic based and primarily focused on skill development. The first 3-4 days will be practices. The remaining will still start as a short practice but finish with a scrimmage/game versus the team sharing the field.

Guidelines for scrimmages/games
-
Players use tees for the first 3 games, then coaches can start coach pitch for the players that are ready, still recommend tees for the majority of the players.

If transitioning to coach pitch, players receive 6 pitches and if no contact/hit, the tee is brought out for them to get on base.

There should ONLY be six (6) fielders at one time with the rest of the defending team, which should be three (3) players doing a fielding drill with a coach on the side.

Outs are made but not recorded. Entire lineup bats each inning.

Runners advance one base at a time.

Fielding team throws to first base on every ball put into play.

2-3 total innings.
